INTERNSHIP FOR CREDIT
The College of Engineering offers a one credit course for students during their intern or co-op experience called EGR X (formerly EGR 393). The co-op semesters enable students to thoughtfully work out a “working lifestyle” that can include continued learning, sensitivity to professionalism and professional ethics, and a habit of thoughtfully assessing current events. For more information on the program click here. You can direct students here for more information.
CONNECT WITH THE UNIVERSITY
Want majors outside of engineering? Connect with our Career Services partners across campus.
INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES
Most international students are eligible to participate in registered cooperative education and internship opportunities with the approval of the College of Engineering and the Office of International Student Services. Experiences may be found in the United States or the student's home country. Employers who are interested in exploring hiring a diverse pool of candidates and who will consider co-op or intern experiences for international students should contact The Center (careers@egr.msu.edu) to learn more. There is no need for visa sponsorship to employ an international student as a co-op or intern.
